Kuno-Tōen Pottery Studio

The Kuno-Tōen Pottery Studio, the birthplace of Kasama Pottery, was founded by Han-uemon Kuno. It was later designated by Sadanao Makino, lord of the Kasama clan, as one of the clan's official pottery studios. Keizaburō Ōtsuka, the originator of Mashiko Pottery, learned pottery at this studio. Visitors can take a tour through the studio and have hands-on pottery experience.
