At the Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art, the works of the late Shoji Hamada, a living national treasure, and the works of ceramic artists associated with Mashiko Town are on permanent display, and special exhibitions are held several times a year.
At "Kihei Sasajima", the works of Kihei Sasajima, a woodblock painter who studied under Shiko Munakata, will be exhibited. It is a facility that leads to learning and interaction.
In addition, the "former Shoji Hamada's residence" was relocated to the site, and before that, the "climbing kiln" that Shoji Hamada used during his lifetime was restored.
